Tracy Albee has been an RN since 1987 and resides in Henderson, NV. She holds a BSN from CSUS. She is a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified and a Certified Life Care Planner. She holds the honor of being recognized as a Fellow of the International Academy of Life Care Planners.
Tracy Albee has owned and been the principal shareholder of MediLegal, since 1995. Her past expertise includes Home Health / Hospice Nursing, Elder Abuse and Residential Care Facilities. She now practices primarily in the field of Legal Nurse Consulting and Life Care Planning, which also includes Future Cost Projections, Past Bill Reviews, Lien Analysis and Putting a Value on Past Caregiver Services. She also offer limited Case Management Services.
Her clinical experience includes working with persons of all ages: Newborns, pediatrics, adults, and the elderly; as well as individuals with mental disorders and developmental disabilities.
Tracy Albee works with plaintiff and defense firms across the United States. Her most recent professional volunteer position was as President of the International Academy of Life Care Planners, a section of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. She completed a three year term, ending as Past President, in June of 2018. Prior to that, as well as currently, she serves on several committees of the same organization, including participating in many Life Care Planning Summits.
Ms. Albee has been published in various publications and provides educational programs at a local and national level on the many diversified areas of work that she performs. She belongs to multiple professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners.
Tracy was a co-founder of the Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants [no longer an active chapter] in 1996 and she served as a Director at Large, President Elect, President, and Past President on several occasions throughout her membership.
Ms. Albee was a member of the Board of Trustees for Sutter Tracy Community Hospital from 2003 to 2009 and held two terms as Secretary. In this capacity, she also chaired the Medical Policy Committee, as well as sitting on other hospital committees, including the Ethics Committee. She had previously held a Board position for The McHenry House homeless shelter. She has volunteered for organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club; The Festival of the Trees; and several schools in her local area.
From 2007 to 2009, Tracy Albee served a two-year term as a Director at Large on the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultant’s National Board and held several committee positions within that organization. She also served as the AALNC 2010 Conference Committee Chair, organizing a national conference for over 400 legal nurse consultants.
Tracy Albee is married to Oscar Gutierrez and they are the parents of five children and have five grandchildren.
Nicole Weight has been with MediLegal. since 2012, as the Executive Administrative Assistant. Nicole plays an integral part to client relations and the case management of our nurses.
Nicole brings to her job the medical knowledge that she acquired from her degree in Health Information Technology, which includes medical information and communication systems; clinical guidelines, including compliance with privacy laws [HIPAA]; health care management; formal medical terminology and pathophysiology; and data analysis, which includes medical coding and billing practices.
Nicole likes to travel, spend time with family and friends, and play with her three legged cat Rascal, who is appropriately named.
Sarah has been with MediLegal. since 2021. She is the part time Executive Assistant counterpart in the office to support Nicole and Tracy. She will likely be your initial contact for incoming new referrals, status updates for open cases, and updating files. Sarah brings her experience in Home Health Care, HR Administration, Recruitment, Office Management, and Executive Support to the Medilegal team.
Sarah is a Bay Area native who now resides in Tracy, CA. She lives with her husband, 3 daughters, and 2 dogs. She enjoys nature and being outdoors with her family. They go on frequent camping trips with their friends & family. She believes in positive mindfulness and kindness. She also enjoys a healthy living lifestyle, interior design, houseplants, beauty/fashion, and keeping an active social life.
Carrie Souders is a Michigan native who resides in Las Vegas, NV and has been an RN since 2013. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from the College of Southern Nevada and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Aspen University.
Carrie’s clinical experience includes emergency and perioperative nursing. Carrie has been with MediLegal since 2022. Carrie is responsible for review of case documents and writing case histories.
Carrie enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog. Her husband travels for his job, which has given them the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Tammy Campbell has been with MediLegal since 2019. She has been an RN since 1990 and holds a BSN from San Francisco State University. Her clinical experience includes Newborn Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Adult and Pediatric Home Care, and Home Infusion Therapies. She has been working as a Legal Nurse Consult since 2000. Tammy is married with two adult children. She is an avid animal lover and has two rescue dogs and one rescue cat. In her spare time, Tammy loves to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys volunteering, reading, crafting, and creating an oasis for her outdoor squirrels and birds.
Sharon Bennett has been with MediLegal since the summer of 2021. She originally obtained an associate degree in nursing in 1999 and practiced in general medical and oncology acute care settings. In 2005, she completed a one-year certificate program at California State University East Bay in legal nurse consulting. After a 15-year absence from the academic scene, Sharon returned to school in 2020 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has decided she is done with school for now but remains open to additional educational opportunities in the distant future.
When she is not writing case histories for MediLegal, Sharon enjoys reading at the beach, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, wine tasting, and catching up on true crime podcasts. She is an ardent animal lover and is currently the devoted servant to three beloved cats.
Michele Elvander is a California native who currently lives in Newport Beach, CA. She earned her BS in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and went on to get her Master's in Physical Therapy at CSU Long Beach.
Michele began her career in a clinic-based setting, but once having children wanted more flexibility and transitioned to home health care. She specializes in physical therapy for pediatric cases, 0-3 years of age.
Michele enjoys spending time with her children. She also practices yoga, takes walks at the beach, and chills with her 4-year-old Maltipoo, Romeo.
